National Cabinet gives New Zealand Warriors green light to travel to Australia amid coronavirus pandemic, will fly to Tamworth

Tamworth Airport will be reopened as an international airport so the Warriors can fly into the country NSW town on Sunday.

The Auckland based-club has on Friday been given the green light to fly into Australia.

The club is slated to arrive at Tamworth Airport – which will reopen for the sole purpose of hosting the Warriors – on Sunday afternoon.

While the charter flight has been booked, the club’s players have still not been provided the assurances they are seeking regarding the state of the pay deal.
