Western Bulldog Lachie Hunter has been hit with a four-match suspension and fined a maximum $5000 for his role in an alleged drink-driving incident last week.
As expected Hunter has given up his leadership position with the Bulldogs.
Hunter must also undergo alcohol counselling and training.
The Bulldogs and the league’s integrity department had spent the weekend investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident in which Hunter allegedly crashed into four parked cars, before later returning a positive breath test of more than twice the legal limit.
