“Ky touched the heart of many people during his battle and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during Kyron’s fight against DIPG.”
The Pies paid tribute to McGuire on Twitter.
“We’re deeply saddened to hear Kyron McGuire jnr lost his battle to a rare brain cancer on Monday,” the club wrote.
“We were fortunate enough to welcome Kyron and his family to the club in 2019. His bravery inspired many and we’re truly grateful to have met this little legend.
“Rest easy buddy.”
