In a voiceover, Shannon’s daughter, Alana Thompson — aka Honey Boo Boo — can be heard saying, “I don’t even know who she is anymore,” while Shannon wails elsewhere in the clip: “Nobody knows what the real story is.”
The former Toddlers and Tiaras star was left in tears as it appeared the family gathered to stage an intervention.
Adding to the family’s troubles, a video posted by 14-year-old Thompson to her Instagram account in August captured the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star pretending to snort a line of cocaine, seemingly mimicking something she’d seen someone do before.
The footage prompted her father, Sugar Bear, to demand full custody of the teenage reality star, which will reportedly play out in the season.
On previous seasons of the explosive reality program, Shannon has documented her extensive surgeries to create an entirely new body.
Her procedures reportedly cost a staggering $75,000, which included a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and veneers worth an estimated $10,000, according to People magazine.
The trailer comes after reports last year that Mama June had been behaving increasingly erratically, with The Sunreporting that she and partner Doak were selling off many of her personal possessions, including her own bed, two desks, a car stereo, coat hangers and various toys.
A video obtained by TMZ last August from inside the home indicated the property was mostly empty.
Mama June’s net worth was estimated to be in the $US1 million range, but insiders have suspected she’s squandered her reality TV fortune on gambling and substance abuse since dating Doak.
Judging by the recent trailer, it appears the two are still together.
