He’s believed to have come from the direction of Morayfield Shopping Centre, heading towards Morayfield State High School, while carrying a black bag.

Police said Mr Bennett was wearing a dark “Popeye the Sailor Man” T-shirt at the time reading “welcome to the gun show” on its front.

Three men in dark clothing – two also wearing bright orange hi-vis vests – were captured “running the same route behind him a short time later”, police said.

The 43-year-old’s body was found in heavy vegetation near a creek on the northern side of Buchanan Rd on January 19.

Police would like to speak to the three other running men or anyone who may recognise them as it may reveal “vital information” for the case.

As investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding Mr Bennett’s death, anyone who may have lost or had a black bag stolen near the shopping centre at 6.30pm on January 11 is urged to come forward.
