The Holden Commodore lurched into tables outside the shop front around 10am today, at the corner of Malton Road and Roma Street in North Epping, emergency services said.
Multiple ambulance crews rushed to treat 10 people with injuries, including one with critical stomach injuries.
“A 30-year-old woman was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The nine others were treated on scene; with four taken to hospital in a stable condition.”
Local police have spoken to an 89-year-old man who was driving the car. He was taken to Ryde Hospital for mandatory testing.
Crash investigations continue.
