Danny Frawley’s show “Bounce” to go on at Fox Footy

Fox Footy will retain “Bounce”, the light-hearted show that was synonymous with the late Danny Frawley, throughout the 2020 season.

“Bounce”, best known for the jocular antics of Frawley and his friend and former opponent, the Hawthorn great and commentator Jason Dunstall, will continue to screen on Sunday nights after Fox Footy’s broadcast of their final game, with ex-basketball champion Andrew Gaze increasing his role in the show.

While the fate of the program was unclear immediately after Frawley’s death last September, Fox has chosen to go ahead with the show, without directly replacing Frawley as the mainstay alongside Dunstall, taking the view that continuing the show was appropriate and respectful to the former St Kilda skipper and Richmond coach.

Gaze, who has been a regular on “Bounce”, will increase his presence, while the show will still feature former Cat Cameron Mooney, Collingwood AFLW player and ex-Australian netballer Sharni Layton and former Adelaide and Melbourne player Bernie Vince.
