Pervert chiropractor jailed for 10 years for spying on clients

Peter Wayne Snodgrass admitted more than 200 charges, including filming patients with cameras hidden in a pen and an alarm clock, between 2012 and 2017.

His victims were aged between 11 and 60.

He has also admitted producing and downloading child exploitation material and filming some of his sexual partners without their permission.

In sentencing today, Supreme Court Justice Anne Bampton said the 52-year-old’s offending was “voraciously voyeuristic”.

The judge said Snodgrass had “transgressed professional and moral boundaries”.

She said his victims had described the utter violation of privacy they had endured and how they felt shame, anger and embarrassment.

In earlier evidence to the court, Snodgrass told how he would download the material to a computer hard drive and give each file a name, sometimes related to the physical appearance of his victims.

His offending began when he took an initial image with his phone of a woman he was massaging at the time.

He later bought a camera hidden inside a pen before replacing that with the clock which he set up in a change room area.

The 52-year-old told the court how he was mainly interested in filming women’s breasts because “breasts have always been my sexual preference”.

Justice Bampton imposed a head sentence of 10 years, three months and 15 days with a non-parole period of eight years, two months and 18 days.
