The last time the Bucks (19-3) had a longer winning streak than this was when they won 16 in a row spanning the end of the 1972-73 season and the beginning of 1973-74.

They also had a 13-game run shortly after that 16-game streak ended.

Elsewhere, Jaylen Brown scored a season-high 31 points while Kemba Walker added 28 as Boston beat Miami Heat 112-93 to improve to 8-0 at home.

Jimmy Butler led Miami with a season-high 37 points but he did not have enough help as the Celtics (15-5) jumped above the Heat (15-6) in the eastern conference standings.

Orlando made it three wins in a row with a 128-114 victory over Phoenix.

Aaron Gordon scored a season-high 32 points while Terrence Ross had 22 as the Magic moved two games clear in the race for the final play-off berth in the east.

Devonte Graham made 10 three-pointers and scored 33 points to power the Charlotte Hornets past the Golden State Warriors 106-91 and spoil D’Angelo Russell’s return to the court after missing the past nine games with a right thumb sprain.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Pacers scored a 107-100 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Brooklyn defeated Atlanta 130-110 and the Bulls hung on for a 106-99 victory over the short-handed Memphis Grizzlies.
