Australia v Pakistan second Test live day three at Adelaide Oval

David Warner’s 335 not out has been made look even more impressive by a limp Pakistan performance with the bat after Australia’s day two declaration.

Warner made the Adelaide Oval look like a road and the Pakistan attack beyond pedestrian but it clearly wasn’t all easy going, as Mitchell Starc took four wickets to round off a productive day for the hosts.

As debate continues as to whether Tim Paine should have let Warner bat on – the bullish opener doesn’t think so – Pakistan resume on 6-96 with the impressive Babar Azam (43no) partnered by the first of his tail, Yasir Shah.

Australia will be pushing to get another crack at Shan Masood and Imam ul-Haq asap today and, if the weather plays ball, perhaps even push for a result within three days.

Follow all of the live action here as play starts early at 2pm (AEDT) to make up for lost time yesterday.
