A promo posted to Twitter promised an “international party animal” would be heading to the wilderness to complete a number of squeamish challenges alongside confirmed contestant Miguel Maestre.

Judges Julia Morris and Chris Brown revealed it was a female star in question, prompting social media users to throw out some wild A-list guesses.

“This international party animal likes to prove her critics wrong,” the promo hinted.

Far-fetched (and wholly unlikely) guesses included Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie or Paris Hilton, while some thought it could be Lindsay Lohan given the amount of time she’s spent in Australia lately.

Lohan was a judge on hugely popular singing competition The Masked Singer earlier this year, where she was tasked with having to pretend to know unmasked Aussie celebrities including Gretel Killeen and Rob Mills.

If it is the Mean Girls star heading to the jungle, we’ll likely be treated to much of the same as we highly doubt she’s a regular viewer of The Living Room.

One Masked Singer star you can guarantee won’t be appearing on the show is fellow judge Dannii Minogue.

She recently told news.com.au that she’d been approached by I’m a Celeb producers “many times over” in both Australia and the UK.

“I’m not a camping girl,” she said when asked why she had rejected the offers. “I’m arachnophobic and I’m really awful when I’m hungry. It’s not for me.

“No one needs to see a hangry Minogue,” Minogue joked.

Kyle Sandilands also turned down a spot on the campsite, revealing he said, flat-out, “No way”.

Earlier this month it was announced chef Miguel Maestre, best known for his role on T he Living Room, will trade in his chef’s hat for an Akubra.

Maestre will be joined in the jungle by an Aussie comedian, an AFL legend and tonight’s promised TV megastar as they compete for a $100,000 cheque for their chosen charity.
