Australians Ingles, Dellavedova enjoy wins

Nikola Jokic hit an off-balance 20-foot shot with 1.2 seconds remaining, helping Denver (6-2) rally from a 21-point, fourth-quarter deficit to stun Philadelphia 100-97. Jokic finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds in the largest fourth-quarter comeback in Nuggets history.

Joel Embiid had with 19 points, 15 rebounds and two assists for the 76ers (5-3), who were missing Australia’s Ben Simmons with a shoulder injury.

Anthony Davis had 26 points and nine rebounds and LeBron James 25 points as Los Angeles (7-1) beat Miami 95-80 for their seventh consecutive victory.

The NBA-leading Lakers haven’t lost since their season opener against the LA Clippers.
Jimmy Butler scored 22 points and Goran Dragic added 19 for the Heat (6-3).

Andrew Wiggins scored 40 points and Minnesota (5-3) overcame D’Angelo Russell’s career-high 52 points to beat Golden State (2-7) in overtime.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while Robert Covington had 17 points and 11 boards for the Timberwolves (5-3).

Pascal Siakam matched his career high 44 points and had 20 rebounds in Toronto’s 122-104 victory over New Orleans Pelicans (1-7). The defending champion Raptors improve to 6-2.

Marcus Morris scored a season-high 29 points and New York Knicks (2-7) beat the Mavericks 106-102 in Dallas. Kristaps Porzingis scored 28 points and Luka Doncic added a career-high 38 but the Mavericks dropped to 5-3.

Tristan Thompson led seven Cavaliers in double figures with 21 points and visiting Cleveland (3-5) held off Washington Wizards for a 113-100 win.

The Cavs’ Australian guard Matthew Dellavedova celebrated the birth of his first child, son Anders, with the win, to which he contributed with seven points, one assist and three rebounds in 11 minutes. Thomas Bryant led Washington (2-6) with 23 points.

Elsewhere, Australian Thon Maker managed two points and four rebounds as his Detroit Pistons (4-6) went down 112-106 to the Pacers.  Domantas Sabonis, T.J. McConnell and T.J. Warren all had 17 points for hosts Indiana (5-4), who gained some revenge for two losses to Detroit earlier this season.

Nikola Vucevic recorded 23 points and 16 rebounds as Orlando Magic (3-6) powered to a 118-86 win over the visiting Memphis Grizzlies (2-6).

Buddy Hield scored 22 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic drained five three-pointers among his 20 points as the visiting Sacramento Kings (3-6) recorded a 121-109 victory over Atlanta Hawks (3-5).
