Westcon-Comstor has leased a 4850 sq m built-to-suit facility at 38 Pine Road from GPT Group for $137 per sq m net. The lease is for five years. The property is a design and construct pre-lease, high-quality industrial facility with the tenant moving to Western Sydney for greater operational and logistical efficiencies. CBRE’s Moshe Greengarten, John Micallef and Elijah Shakir negotiated the lease.


Stowe Australia Pty Ltd has leased a 50 sq m office with partial fit-out as project space at Suite 304 & Suite 305/Level 3, 69 – 75 King Street from John Curtis Pty Limited at $455 per sq m gross. The lease term is nine months. John Skufris, Ray White Commercial South Sydney.

Coles Group Property Developments Ltd has sold the 4594 sq m Coles Amaroo Village in the northern suburbs of Canberra to a private interstate investor for $29.5 million on a net yield of 6.25 per cent. The centre features a convenient non-discretionary tenancy mix, with 80 per cent of the gross floor area secured to Coles and Liquorland on a long-term lease.  Steven Lerche and Nic Purdue of Savills Australia and Philip Gartland of Stonebridge negotiated the sale and the ACT retail investment market continues to be extremely tightly held, with only 3 retail properties between $15 million to $40 million transacting in the past five years.

Seven Hills 

Blacktown City Council has sold an industrial site at Seven Hills for $2 million at a highly competitive auction. The 1686 sq m site offers 29 metres of frontage to Park Road and benefits from a flexible IN1 general industrial zoning, which would accommodate a wide range of users subject to the relevant planning approvals. CBRE’s Matthew Alessi and Brendan Wein steered the sale of the Lot 3 Park Road property to a private buyer.


CBRE Hotels has bolstered its valuation & advisory services team with the appointment of former JLL Hotels executive Troy Craig. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality market and was previously managing director of the strategic advisory division of JLL’s hotels and hospitality group. Mr Craig has been appointed as regional director to lead the CBRE Hotels’ Valuation & Advisory Services team in Australia and New Zealand.
