English, who is contracted until the end of 2020, is expected to extend his time with the Bulldogs until at least the end of 2022 after locking in Naughton until 2024 in April.
The developing ruckman has already played 21 games with the Bulldogs, impressing with his athleticism and ability to get around the ground. He proved dangerous in attack against Carlton in round 13 when he kicked two vital goals and is expected to improve as he adds strength and weight to his thin frame.
