Bombers big man Zac Clarke to face undermanned Swans

Collingwood picked debutant Isaac Quaynor, welcomed back Jamie Elliott and recalled James Aish. Injured pair Ben Reid and Levi Greenwood make way along with Travis Varcoe, who was dropped.

The Magpies face a danger match against Hawthorn, who named Stratton after a two-match suspension and recalled forward Mitchell Lewis at the expense of Jonathon Ceglar (omitted) and the injured Dylan Moore.

At Essendon, Matt Guelfi is back alongside Stringer and Clarke with Kyle Langford and Josh Begley dropped and No.1 ruckman Tom Bellchambers out injured for six matches.

Richmond, who travel north for a clash against Gold Coast, picked 21-year-old defender Derek Eggmolesse-Smith to replace injured utility Josh Caddy.

Former Tiger Shaun Grigg praised Eggmolesse-Smith’s professionalism after he secured his AFL debut thanks to good form in the VFL.

“He’s been super again this year,” Grigg told Richmond’s website.

“He backs himself in, takes them on, and the defensive side of his game is good.”

There were a combined seven changes for Saturday’s Showdown in Adelaide with Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley reacting strongly to Port’s inconsistent form.

Hinkley dropped four players – William Drew, Kane Farrell, Joel Garner and Peter Ladhams – and turned to experienced players Tom Rockliff and Justin Westhoff with Karl Amon and Dougal Howard the other ins.

While Gibbs again felt the wrath of Adelaide coach Don Pyke, the Crows brought back David Mackay, Wayne Milera and forward Josh Jenkins.

At West Coast, Jeremy McGovern and Tom Barrass come in for the omitted Schofield and the injured Mark Hutchings. Fremantle ruckman Aaron Sandlilands is among their inclusions.
