Pratt, 39, and Schwarzenegger, 29, married on the weekend at a Californian ranch.
Guests included her parents Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, and actor Rob Lowe.
The couple announced their engagement in January after dating for seven months. Pratt finalised his divorce with ex-wife Anna Faris in October 2018. He shares a son with Faris.
After their wedding day Pratt shared a photo, expecting to share the love, but instead was met with plenty of criticism for his caption.
“Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional,” he wrote.
“We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”
But team Pratt took issue with him calling it his “best day,” saying it was insensitive to his ex-wife and his son.
Anna must feel so happy that this was ur best day of ur life!

Really? Your son’s birth wasn’t the best day of your life? Sheesh😕

Don’t you have a son? how can this be the best day of your life? I don’t understand, is this second marriage more important to you than your son?

On Instagram fans had a similar reaction.
While Rob Lowe, Olivia Munn, Elizabeth Banks, Bryce Dallas Howard, Zoe Saldana and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the couples’ wellwishers, others were less than impressed.
“Not even divorced a year … what?” One commenter wrote.
“I feel bad when people say they had the happiest day of their lives … it’s like you’re crapping on the day your son was born, or the day you married your previous spouse! Just say you had a wonderful, happy day!” another wrote.
“Didn’t he say the same stuff to his previous wife,” another comment read.
Others defended the couple, saying it was no one’s business and as long as they’re happy it’s all that matters.
