Blackmores is now on the hunt for two key executives, including a CEO, after the resignation of the managing director of its Australian and New Zealand business David Fenlon.
The vitamins and supplements maker announced Mr Fenlon’s departure on Thursday morning, shortly after Melbourne-based beauty company BWX said he would be its next chief executive.
The resignation follows the sudden departure of former Blackmores chief executive Richard Henfrey in March after about 19 months in the role. The company’s founder and biggest shareholder, Marcus Blackmore, is acting as interim chief executive until a new CEO is found.
Blackmores said in a statement to the ASX on Thursday morning that Mr Fenlon had resigned to move back to Melbourne, and head another company that was not a competitor.
