“I guess there’s a possibility,” Jenkins told SEN radio on Wednesday.
“It’s a fair reach.
“Funnily I had my brother reach out to me … asking if I was being traded because he saw something was on Facebook.
“I was in this situation, only for one week admittedly in 2017 and got to play a grand final [that year].
“Things can change quickly but it would be a fair stretch to make that assumption at the moment.”
Jenkins, contracted at Adelaide until the end of the 2022 season, had hoped to have returned to the Crows team by now.
“I also understand there is still 14 AFL games to go plus hopefully some finals footy,” he said.
“It’s taken longer than I hoped but there is still 14 games to go and at some point I believe I will be back in the team.
“I’ll just back myself, my belief and my ability that I won’t be at the lower level long-term.
