Cronulla’s Paul Gallen stands by Cameron Munster-Cameron Smith full-time blow-up at Shark Park

“They are a great team but that last play of the game was un-Melbourne like,” Gallen said.

“I don’t know why they are getting upset about it. It happened [the argument]. Go watch the video, Melbourne.

“I am not making anything up here.

“Knowing Melbourne they will hold onto that until next time we play them. They will stick it up around the change room, and I will be on the ‘chopping block’, as [Craig] Bellamy calls it.

“If that’s what they need to get motivated, so be it.

“There was nothing I said that was derogatory to them.

“If you watched Melbourne closely, they should have been beaten last weekend against the Warriors, the Bulldogs was a tight game, they were down 20-0 against Roosters, which is un-Melbourne like.

“If we could control the ball I knew we could win. I didn’t think we’d score 20 points but we did.”
