QIN View Management Pty Ltd has expanded its presence with a lease of a 965 sq m modern warehouse with high internal clearance and contemporary office space at 2A Garner Place, from Miclia Pty Ltd for $125 sq m net. The lease term is three years plus a three-year option. Adrian Balderston and Fab Dalfonso, Colliers International, advised on the deal.
Private group Brown has leased a partially-furnished strata titled office suite of 55 sq m with an east facing outlook following an extensive upgrade of the building’s main ground floor lobby at Suite 1608/Level 16, 109 Pitt Street from Cavaress Pty Ltd at $870 per sq m gross. Medlab Pty Ltd has leased two warehouses at Unit 5 and Unit 6 at 11 Lord Street with a combined leased space of 1797.50 sq m for $433,739.50 a year net from Dexus. The lease term is five years. Tom Barnier and Michael Crombie from Colliers International South Sydney office concluded the deal mid April.
Darren Maybury & Ivan Pandzic has sold a 131.5 sq m property at 5/75 Corish Circle to Constantine Property No 1 Pty Ltd for $790,000. The sale was completed by Marino Rodriguez, Taylor Nicholas South Sydney.
Montgomery Property Holding Pty Ltd has boosted its footprint with the purchase of a newly-constructed office/warehouse at 16 / 26 Park Road for $732,450 from Parkbridge Estate Pty Ltd. The total area is 273 sq m being an office of 47 sq m and a warehouse space of 226 sq m. There are also four car spaces. Bawdens Industrial’s associate director sales and leasing, Graeme Scott, advised in the deal.
The Executive Committee of PFA recently elected Steven Bennett, head of Charter Hall Direct, as the President of PFA’s National Executive Committee, taking over the role from Mark Pratt, executive general manager property at Australian Unity.
The Association also elected Andrew Cannane, executive director at Evans Dixon as the Committee’s new vice-president.
Formed in 1998, PFA was established to provide the growing number of direct property investors and managers with an organisation to represent their interests, promote their industry and provide a forum for research and education.
Savills Australia has boosted its team with the appointment of Jordan Lee and Andy Hu who will head up the new Asia Markets team, based in the Sydney head office. Mr Lee joins after eight years at Colliers International working across the Asia markets/investment services.
Mr Hu joins after six years at Knight Frank working across Asia markets and commercial sales. Prior to this, he spent almost four years at Drake Property.
Both will be joint state directors, focusing on the sub-$100 million market, connecting Asian Capital with Australian assets and both speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
