‘‘It’s a bit like buying Winx’s brother with all the profile around The Autumn Sun,’’ Aquis chief executive Shane McGrath said.

‘‘He’s come off a great nursery in Arrowfield. He’s a smashing colt. I thought he’d take a bit longer to sell honestly. He goes into that colts partnership for us. It’s exciting. Who knows what he could be? He’s got a pedigree that could be anything.

‘‘Physically he did everything for us and he’s got a great mind. He’ll now go into the early learning system and we’ll have another look at him and work out where he goes. He’s a gem and we’re really excited about him. He’s a horse that pretty much everyone else was asking about before.’’
