Aussie show wins big at Cannes

The proposed show, Change My Mind, involves the lives of adults being turned upside down when a preconceived notion is challenged by a child or teen activist.

Managing director Kristy Fuller and producer Amy Parks accepted the award for the Melbourne-based company at the MipFormats International Pitch in the Palais des Festivals.

The prize includes 5000 euros to help develop the format.

The judges said the pitch won because it was “a unique, self-contained clear format” and was provocative and timely.

Another Australian company, Media Stockade, was in the pitch final six for The Love Experiment.

Kristy Fuller said they were grateful for the win and for the support of Screen Australia.
